ABOUT LISA

Lisa Friedman is a seasoned Jewish Musician and Educator. She is a Rabbinical Student at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles. Lisa’s passion for Judaism stems from her years of attending Jewish summer camp, involvement in youth groups, and leading services. Nothing fulfills Lisa more than creating community and bringing people together through education, music, and prayer. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Arizona with a degree in Literacy, Learning, and Leadership. Lisa currently works as the B-Mitzvah Cantorial Soloist & Experiential Engagement Coordinator at Congregation Or Ami in Calabasas, Religious School Songleader at Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles, and Programs & Operations Associate for Judaism Alive. In her free time, Lisa writes Jewish music, cooks delicious food, and travels around the globe.
